Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It is wonderful. I love the way people count their blessings and spend time with their family and friends, and I love getting together with my family and preparing a delicious meal. Fall is in the air and the holiday season is just beginning. I also love Thanksgiving foods and I enjoy using family recipes that have been passed down in my family for generations. However, I understand that not everyone shares my enthusiasm for cooking and some people find the idea of cooking a huge meal stressful. I have the perfect solution for them.
Every year my family prepares extra holiday dinners using our family recipes for our customers who don’t want the hassle of preparing a Thanksgiving meal. These holiday dinners are delicious, and easy to reheat. I get lots of compliments on these meals and many people order them year after year. They are also a great gift idea. We have holiday dinners that serve two people and holiday dinners that serve 26 people, so no matter the size of your crowd we can handle your meal.
Keller’s dinners come with your choice of roasted or smoked turkey, smoked ham, or roast beef. Each of these meats are raised on our farms and then cooked each day in our stores. My Uncle Mike does all of the roasting and smoking. Our meats are low fat and low sodium. Our roasted meats are delicious, there is nothing added; it is just meat. Our smoked meat is marinated with brown sugar and salt and smoked over a hickory fire. The small dinners come with sliced boneless meat and the large dinners come with whole turkeys or hams.
Keller’s Turkey Bread Dressing is my Uncle Paul’s favorite. We use seasoned turkey to create a delicious bread dressing based on my Mom’s recipe. Everyone loves my mom’s dressing.
Keller’s Sweet Potato Casserole with Brown Sugar and Nut Topping comes from Aunt Theona Keller’s recipe. Aunt Theona was a wonderful cook and we loved her sweet potato recipe so much we have been using it in our stores for years.
Our mashed potatoes are creamy and delicious. They are a perfect comfort food and Thanksgiving would not be complete without them.
Keller’s Turkey Gravy is my favorite part of the meal. I love gravy and it is my opinion that you can never have too much of it. I love to put it on my meat, dressing, potatoes and rolls. It is good on everything!
Our Cranberry salad is based on my Aunt Nancy’s recipe. Whenever we get together she brings the cranberries, and they are always a big hit. She brings them in a huge bowl. Everyone thinks they are another dessert because they are so delicious.
Keller’s dinners also come with Vegetable Medley which is broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, dinner rolls, and pies. We have everything you need to make sure that your Thanksgiving is special and memorable. You can reserve a dinner by calling or coming in to either of our stores.
