The Super Bowl is quickly approaching and there is a great deal of excitement involved.  Even if you aren’t a football fan like me you can get swept up in the fun of a Game Day Party.  Everyone has their favorite Super Bowl food and no matter if you are having a huge party or watching the game with just a few friends, I have seven food suggestions to help make your party a huge success.

  1. Fresh Chicken Drummettes & Wings

Buffalo wings are the classic game day food.  Keller’s chicken wings are fresh and delicious.  I like to cook mine on the grill for 10 minutes on each side, drizzle Keller’s brand buffalo sauce on them and then finish them in the oven at 350 for 10minutes.

  1. Party Trays

Party Trays are an easy game day food especially if you are having a large crowd.  Everyone can serve themselves and there is something that everyone will enjoy.  Keller’s makes party trays with our all natural smoked and roasted meats, with gourmet cheeses, with fresh fruits and vegetables or with pinwheel tortillas.  (The pinwheel tortilla roll up trays are my husband’s favorite.)  Details about our trays can be found at

  1. Smoked Hams

Keller’s smoked hams make a delicious and filling Super Bowl Party food.  Keller’s all natural leg of pork is marinated in brown sugar and salt and smoked over a hickory fire.  It is fully cooked so it can be served hot or cold.  They can be purchased bone in or boneless.  I love to pair sliced boneless ham with rolls to make delicious sandwiches.  Details about our ham can be found here

  1. Delicious Salads

Keller’s makes a wide variety of potato salads, pasta salads, and coleslaws that are the perfect side to any game day food.  If you haven’t tried Keller’s Czechoslovakian Potato Salad you should.  It has sour cream and bacon.  It is my absolute favorite and I get wonderful compliments every time I serve it.  A list of our side dishes and salads can be found at the bottom of this page

  1. Smoked or Roasted Turkeys

Keller’s all natural smoked or roasted turkeys are made fresh in our stores.  They can be made bone in or boneless.  The boneless turkey can be sliced and served with rolls to make delicious sandwiches for your event.  For more information about our smoked or roasted turkeys please see our page

  1. Sub Sandwiches

Sub sandwiches are another classic game day food.  You can make them yourself using Keller’s all natural cold cuts or we can make them for you (with advanced notice).  They can be 3, 4, 5,or 6 feet long.  They are beautiful and delicious.  More information about our sandwiches can be found here

  1. Ribs

Ribs are another great idea for a game day food.  They are meaty and delicious and there is just something about them that says “football”.  This week Keller’s beef slab ribs are on sale for $2.98/lb.  Another popular choice is the baby back ribs.  If you would like a wonderful recipe for ribs you can check out my earlier blog post at

No matter what you choose to serve for your Game Day party I hope that you have a wonderful time with your friends and family enjoying the festivities.
